Terri’s 2009 Muzzleloader Buck – What a Great Hunt this was! It was December 15th and the weather was colder than Billy himself!! John & I have such a passion for deer hunting that the weather and long walk didn’t keep us from going that evening. And am I glad we went!! This was a nice 10 pt. buck that was the icing on the cake for my 2009 hunting season. And thanks to my favorite hunting partner, John, for encouraging me to hunt the stand that I was in!
What a great example of the walleye that can be caught below each of the dams. Pictured is Bob Tabor, one of our great customers, with a catch from below the Norway Dam during the 2009 fall fishing season. Bob is usually pretty consistent in his “catchability” so you may want to pay attention to what he’s doing and using, right Bob??
Jeremy Tipton of St. John’s, Michigan harvested this White County buck during the 2009 archery season. This is a fine example of the quality of bucks in the White and Carroll county areas of Indiana. Nice job, Jeremy!! Do you think he just might have some plans to come back to Indiana during the 2010 seasons???
John and I absolutely think this particular picture says it all!! This is Trevor Turner of Valparaiso, Indiana and Trevor participated in the Youth Deer Hunting Weekend in the fall of 2009. Trevor did a great job in harvesting an antlerless deer during the Youth Weekend. Congratulations Trevor!!
John with a Lake Freeman beauty caught in the spring of 2009. Of course she was released back into the waters of Freeman in hopes of being able to catch her again sometime – (preferably during a bass tournament!!!) This is a nice example of the quality of fish in both Freeman and Shafer.
Yikes!!! Who is this masked man??? I will give you a hint – he could be found fishing on Guntersville in Alabama during the first week of March – can you say “Baby, it’s cold out here!” I LOVE the mask – it’s so you!!! I think we should have a contest to name that masked fisherman, don’t you???
John & I have watched Andy Reynolds of Monticello grow up into a very good angler. Andy is very proficient at catching walleyes and the hybrid white bass (wiper) and uses a couple of different techniques that are quite effective for him.
Here’s Andy with a whopper of a wiper that weighed in at 16 lbs!! According to Andy, this fish was actually caught below the Oakdale dam on Sat., April 10, 2010. I’d definitely have to say the Andy has a line on how to catch the “big ones.”
Johnathon Wright with his 20 lb. Tom taken on 4.21.10. The Spring turkey season in the White County area is definitely getting attention from area hunters and it appears that we have a very healthy turkey population throughout the county. Congratulations Johnathon!
Bud Collins, 40 lbs. Dick Watts, 45 lbs.
